OUR GRAND TALES™ — TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing an order with Our Grand Tales™, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Custom, Made-to-Order Product

All products offered by Our Grand Tales™ are custom, made-to-order items created using information, images, and content provided by you.

Because each book is uniquely produced for you:

  • All orders require your approval before printing.

  • Once a final proof is approved, all sales are final.

  • We cannot accept returns or offer full refunds for approved custom products.

Additional details regarding proof approval and partial refunds are described in Section 6 below.

2. Rights to Images, Names, and Likenesses

By uploading photos, names, written content, or other materials (“Customer Content”) to Our Grand Tales™, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the legal right to use all submitted photos, names, likenesses, and content.

  • You grant Our Grand Tales™ a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and print this content solely for the purpose of creating and fulfilling your custom product.

  • This license is limited to order fulfillment, proof creation, printing, quality assurance, and customer support.

  • Personal information submitted in connection with an order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

3. Consent of Individuals Appearing in Photos

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for obtaining consent from any individual appearing in your submitted photos, including minors, where required.

  • Our Grand Tales™ does not verify consent from third parties.

  • You assume full responsibility for the use of images depicting family members, friends, or other individuals.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Our Grand Tales™, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

  • Your submission of photos, names, likenesses, or written content;

  • Allegations that your content infringes another person’s rights, including rights of publicity, privacy, or copyright;

  • Any dispute involving individuals appearing in your submitted photos who did not authorize their inclusion.

5. Content Review & Editorial Discretion

Our Grand Tales™ reserves the right to:

  • Decline or modify content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate;

  • Edit content for clarity, length, tone, or age-appropriateness;

  • Adjust layout, formatting, or illustration style as needed for production quality.

We will make reasonable efforts to honor your submitted content while maintaining product standards.

6. Proof Approval, Revisions & Refund Policy

  • You will receive a digital PDF proof before printing.

  • You may request one (1) round of revisions.

  • A second proof will be provided for approval.

If the second proof is not approved, you may cancel the order and receive a partial refund of $100.

Once you approve the final proof:

  • Your order moves into production.

  • All sales become final.

  • No additional refunds or cancellations are permitted.

7. Production & Shipping

  • Production begins only after final proof approval.

  • Estimated printing and shipping time is 10–18 days after approval.

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

Our Grand Tales™ is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Use of AI & Design Tools

You acknowledge that Our Grand Tales™ may use:

  • AI-assisted writing tools;

  • Illustration enhancement tools;

  • Design software (e.g., Canva or similar platforms)

These tools are used to assist in creating your book but do not replace human review.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our Grand Tales™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for your order.

10. Privacy & Data Handling

Your personal information and uploaded content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data or customer content.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, checking the acceptance box at checkout, or submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions;

  • You agree to be bound by them.
